Embeds

- Titles, descriptions, fields and media
- Live preview while editing
- Save and edit again
Reaction roles
Members choose their own roles with buttons and select menus. Configure role groups, V1/V2 messages and managed publications.
Included features
- Both formats support previews, accent colours, images, multiple embeds and expanding, copying, removing and reordering embeds. V1 uses fixed Discord fields, while V2 uses freely arranged blocks. The following sections explain the available inputs and their differences.
- Role buttons with labels, emojis, four button styles and one or more roles per option
- Select menus with placeholders, descriptions, emojis and single or multiple selection
- V1 supports multiple independent role selectors below the entire message. They share up to five action rows. Each menu uses one row, and up to five buttons share a row. Five menus are therefore possible only without additional button rows. Each selector contains up to 25 options. V2 assigns one role selector with buttons or a menu to each container, using the shared component budget. Moving a V1 embed does not move an independent role selector. This module offers blue, grey, green or red role buttons, but no website link-button editor or one-time sending.
- Live preview with simulated role selection that does not change real member roles
- Name and duplicate compositions, save drafts, publish and update messages, and remove publications
- Guidance on role permissions, role hierarchy, image sizes, text limits and the shared component limit

Settings
Settings lets you choose the language, time zone and default embed color, delegate dashboard access and manage stored module data.
Included features
- Default color for bot embeds
- Language and time zone
- Delegated dashboard access
- Management of stored module data
What can you set in Settings?
Choose your server language, time zone and default embed color in Settings. You can also delegate dashboard access and manage saved module data.
Use settings
Under Settings you can set server-wide defaults for Fjord. The selection applies to the server that is open in the dashboard.
- Open the desired server in the dashboard.
- Select Settings.
- Customize embed color, language, time zone, or dashboard access.
- Check your changes and select Save.
Changes are only applied when saved. You can restore the last saved status using Discard.
Set embed color
The embed color determines the default color of the embeds that Fjord uses on this server. You can select a suggested color or enter your own HEX color value.
The preview shows directly how the selected color looks on a Discord embed. A valid HEX color value starts with exactly one hash sign #, followed by six hexadecimal digits (0–9 and A–F), for example #5865F2.
Language and time zone
The language determines the language in which Fjord works on the selected server. It is saved regardless of the language in which you opened the dashboard itself.
The time zone determines which local time Fjord uses for time-related information for this server. Therefore, choose the time zone that suits the location or organization of your server.
Grant dashboard access
Delegated access allows you to select roles whose members can manage this server in the Fjord dashboard.
- Open the role selection under Delegated Access.
- Search for the desired server role.
- Select the role and choose its allowed modules. You can select Welcome, AutoMod, Embeds, Activity log and Settings. Each delegated role needs at least one module.
- You can select all modules or clear the selection. Click the role again to remove it and its module permissions.
- Save the changes.
The server owner and members with an administrator role are still allowed to manage the dashboard regardless of this selection. Administrator roles are therefore permanently selected and cannot be removed here.
Delegated members can see and manage only modules allowed by at least one of their assigned roles. They cannot change access roles or delete saved module data.
After saving, the server may take up to one minute to appear in a delegated member’s server selection. Reload the server list afterwards.
Manage saved module data
The data overview shows for each area whether data is stored for the selected server. This includes the configurations of the modules as well as associated backgrounds and embedding files.
You can delete the data of a single area or all saved module data on the server. Before deleting, Fjord asks for confirmation again.
Deleted module data cannot be restored. Before confirming, check carefully which area is selected. Delete all data affects all areas of this server listed in the overview.
Fix errors
| Observation | Examination |
|---|---|
| A change was not adopted. | Was Save selected after the change and successful saving was confirmed? |
| The embedding color cannot be saved. | Check whether a valid HEX color value with exactly six characters is used. |
| A role cannot be seen in the selection. | Check the search term and whether the role still exists on the selected server. The role @everyone cannot be selected. |
| An administrator role cannot be removed. | Administrator roles always retain access and are therefore permanently selected. |
| The delete button is not available. | There is no saved data for the area in question or the data overview is still loading. |
| The settings cannot be loaded. | Check that the correct server is selected, then select Reload. |
